Winter Garden, Fla. - Junior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) shot a team-low round of 71 leading Farmingdale State to a team total of 295 and a one shot victory over Calvin College in a tri-match at Orange County National's Crooked Cat course. Luther College finished in third with a total of 304.
Senior Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.) and sophomore Andrew Goldman (Hauppauge, N.Y.) finished in a tie for fifth place after posting rounds of 74. Junior Dillon Flynn (Plainedge, N.Y.) fired a 76 to tie his career best round, while senior Rocco Costa (Massapequa, N.Y.) posted a 77.
Freshman Ben VanScoyk (Grand Rapids, MI) of Calvin College earned medalist honors with a 4-under par 68 and sophomore Peter Kephart (Decorah, Iowa) from Luther tied for second place with a 71.
The Rams return to action when they head to Tallgrass Golf Club in Shoreham, N.Y. for the Dowling College Memorial Tournament on April 3rd and 4th.
