Farmingdale, N.Y. - After the first round of the Skyline Conference Championship at Bethpage State Park - Red Course, Farmingdale State and St. Joseph's each posted totals of 305 and are tied for the lead.

The Rams were led by junior Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) who carded a 74, while senior Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.) shot 76. Sophomore Andrew Goldman (Hauppauge, N.Y.) posted a 77 and junior Matt Adwar (Holbrook, N.Y.) added a 78 for Farmingdale State.

Christian Bleck of St. Joseph's holds a one stroke lead over Sessions after an opening round of 73. Sage's DJ Ioele, Dylan Legg of Mount Saint Mary and John Melandro (St. Joseph's) all shot 75 and are tied for third place.

Sage (318) is currently in third place and Mount Saint Mary (321) is in fourth.

Tomorrow's final round begins at 9:00 a.m. The winner of the championship receives the conference's automatic bid to the 2015 NCAA Division III Championship at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C.
