Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team won their sixth straight Skyline Conference Championship after earning a 57-stroke victory over runner-up The Sage Colleges. The Rams shot a school record two-day total of 595, including a single day record of 289 in round one. Farmingdale State earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Division III Championships at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C. on May 13-16, 2014.

Senior Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference after winning his third career Skyline Title with a two-day total of 143 (71-72) at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course. Sophomore Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) (71-74-145), junior Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.) (77-72-149) and sophomore Chris Brosi (Stony Brook, N.Y.) (73-78-151) were each named First Team All-Skyline, while senior Rich Kelly (Oceanside, N.Y.) (74-81-155) earned Second Team honors.

At the Mount Saint Mary College Invitational held at the Powelton Club, Larkin and Sessions each fired rounds of 71, with Larkin winning the playoff on the second hole.

Larkin captured the Purchase College Invitational at Old Oaks Country Club with a round of 74, finishing three strokes ahead of teammate Will Ruth (Holbrook, N.Y.). Larkin tied his school record round of 68 at the Farmingdale State Skyline Invitational at Bethpage Red en route to a four stroke victory.

Larkin also earned a victory in the season opening Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore College. Rounds of 74 and 72 led Larkin to a three shot win.

The Rams will head to Orange County National in Orlando, Fla. for the annual spring trip on March 20-25.
