Riverhead, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team is currently in fourth place out of 15 teams at the Dowling College Shootout held at Long Island National Golf Club. The Rams posted a first round team-total of 312.
Senior Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) shot an opening round 4-over par 75 and is tied for fifth place, while sophomore Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) is T10 after posting a 76. Freshman Samuele Riva carded a 79 for Farmingdale State.
Le Moyne College posted a total of 301 and holds a five stroke lead over Adelphi. Host school Dowling is six back after a team-total of 307.
John Clare of Le Moyne leads individually after shooting a 3-under par 68.
The Rams tee off in Saturday's final round at 11:12 a.m.
