Gansevoort, N.Y. - In the first tournament of the 2013 season, senior Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) was the individual medalist at the Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore College.

Larkin posted an opening round of 74 (+2) and trailed the overnight leader sophomore Makenzie Denver (Manchester, N.H.) of Skidmore College by two strokes. Larkin, who hit 17-of-18 greens in regulation during the final round, carded an even par 72 for a two-day total of 146 (+2). Larkin earned a three stroke victory over runner-up Travis Deuel (73-36-149) of SUNY Cobleskill and finished four ahead of Denver (72-78-150) in the opening tournament of the year.

Host School Skidmore College won the team championship, Salem State finished in second and Farmingdale State placed third.

The Rams next will travel to Long Island National Golf Club in Riverhead, N.Y. for the Dowling College Shootout on Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st.
