Rams Finish Second at Palamountain Invitational

Queensbury, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot a final round 298 and finished with a two-day team total of 613 at the Palamountain Invitational hosted by Skidmore College. The Rams finished one stroke behind team champion SUNY Delhi.

Junior Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) posted a final round 74 and finished in a tie for second place with a two-day total of 149. Freshman Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) carded a 1-over 73 today and finished tied four fourth place (150). Sophomore Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.) fired a career-low 1-under par 71 to lead Farmingdale State to a second place finish.

Skidmore (315-299-614) took third place and NYU (316-303-619) finished in fourth place.

SUNY Delhi's James Partridge was the individual medalist with rounds of 74 and 72.

The Rams next will travel to Island Hills Country Club in Sayville, N.Y. for the Long Island Intercollegiate Championship hosted by St. Joseph's College on Thursday, April 25th and Friday, April 26th.
