Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot a 314 in the first round of the Farmingdale State Invitational this afternoon at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course. The Rams trail both Centenary and NYU by one stroke.

Junior Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) and freshman Scott Sessions (Pleasantville, N.Y.) each led Farmingdale State with rounds of 77 and are tied for seventh place individually. Junior Rich Kelly (Oceanside, N.Y.) carded a 78, while freshman Chris Brosi (Stony Brook, N.Y.) shot an 82.

NYU's Dillon Emry (73) holds a one stroke lead over Steve Kluemper of Centenary (74) heading into tomorrow's final round.

The first tee time for the final round is 9:08 a.m.
