Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team has an 18 stroke lead after posting a team-total of 308 in the first round of the Skyline Conference Championship at Bethpage State Park - Red Course.
Junior Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) and sophomore Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.) are tied for lead after carding rounds of 76. Junior Rich Kelly (Oceanside, N.Y.) is one stroke off the lead and tied for third place after posting a 77. Freshman Chris Brosi (Stony Brook, N.Y.) if the fourth Ram in the top 10 after shooting a 79 which has him tied for fifth place.
The Sage Colleges is in second place (326) and Purchase College is in third after a total of 328.
The first tee-time for tomorrow's final round is 9:00 a.m.
