Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. - The Rams shot 308 in today's second round for a two-day total of 631 and a 28th place finish at the 2012 NCAA Division III National Championships held at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. The field was cut from 41 to 15 teams with scores of 602 or better.

Farmingdale State was led by sophomore Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) who shot a round two score of 76 on the Las Colinas course for a two-day total of 154. Sophomore John Michael Haining (Hauppauge, N.Y.) carded a 78 today (77-78-155), while sophomore Rich Kelly (Oceanside, N.Y.) shot a day two score of 77 (86-77-163). Freshman Matt Pollock (Northport, N.Y.) birdied the final hole for a round of 77 (82-77-159) and senior Rob DeLeo (Dix Hills, N.Y.) carded an 80 (88-80-168).

At the halfway point, Oglethorpe University holds a 14 stroke lead (577) over Methodist University. Texas Tyler and Guilford College are currently in third place (595).

Oglethorpe's Anthony Maccaglia leads individually with a two-day total of 139, while Hayden Jones (Oglethorpe), Brad Shigezawa (Clermont Mudd Scripps) and Drew Taylor (Nebraska Wesleyan) are tied for second with a total of 142.
