Farmingdale, N.Y. - Sophomore Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) shot a final round 72 to cap off a five stroke victory at the Farmingdale State Invitational held at Bethpage State Park - Red Course. Larkin entered today's final round with a one stroke lead over Dowling's Kurt Brey after posting a round one score of 71. Larkin played the last eight holes one-under par en route to a two-day total of 143 (71-72) and medalist honors.

Dowling College shot back-to-back rounds of 300 to capture the team championship with a two-day total of 600. The Rams finished in second place with a total of 623 (321-302).

Farmingdale State's Rob Deleo (Dix Hills, N.Y.) fired a final round 76 for a two-day total of 159 and a ninth place finish. Sophomore Rich Kelly (Oceanside, N.Y.) finished tied for 11th with rounds of 85 and 77.

Brey finished in second place individually with a two-day total of 148 (72-76), while Jake Farley of Dowling shot 76-74-150 for a third place finish.

The Rams next will travel to Hampshire Country Club for the Manhattanville/NYU Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 14th.
