Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y. - Senior Chris Arnold (Hauppauge, N.Y.) led the Farmingdale State men's golf team to a third place finish at the Manhattanville/NYU Fall Classic held at Hudson National Golf Club. The Rams posted a two day team total of 639.

Arnold carded two rounds of 77 (154) as he finished in a tie for second place individually with Nick Sica of Manhattanville College. Sophomore John Michael Haining (Hauppauge, N.Y.) shot a career-low 75 after an opening round of 84 for a two round total of 159 and a T8 finish. Sophomore Rich Kelly (Oceanside, N.Y.) (81-79-160) finished in 10th place individually for the Rams.

Host school Manhattanville College captured the team championship with a two day total of 622. Manhattanville's George Tischler earned medalist honors with rounds of 72 and 79 (151).

Farmingdale State next will travel to Panther Valley Golf Club for the Centenary Invitational on Tuesday, October 18th.
