Rams Finish in 8th Place at NYU/Manhattanville Invitational

Suffern, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team finished in eighth place out of 10 teams at the NYU/Manhattanville Spring Invitational in Suffern, N.Y. The Rams shot a final round 318 and finished with a two-day total of 642.

Freshman Adam Larkin (Bellmore, N.Y.) finished in a tie for eighth place individually with rounds of 77 and 76 (153). Junior Chris Arnold (Hauppauge, N.Y.), after an opening round of 82, responded with a five-over par 77 and a 26th place finish for Farmingdale State.

Skidmore College captured the team championship with a two-day total of 598 (297-301), finishing 28 strokes ahead of runner-up SUNY Delhi. Cabrini's Greg Verde was the tournament medalist after shooting rounds of 71 and 74.

The Rams next will travel to St. George's Country Club for the Suffolk Community College Invitational on Monday, April 11th.
