Arnold Named to All-Tournament Team at Hamilton Invitational
Round 1 - Yahnundasis Golf Club - Par 71 - 6,985 Yards
Round 2 - The Skenandoa Club - Par 72 - 6,765 Yards
New Hartford, N.Y. - Junior Chris Arnold (Hauppauge,
N.Y./Hauppauge) was named to the All-Tournament Team this past
weekend at the Hamilton College Golf Invitational. Arnold finished
in a tie for fifth place individually after a two-day total of 150.
He shot an opening round 77 at Yahnundasis Golf Club and followed
that up with a final round 73 at the Skenandoa Club.
Farmingdale State finished in 8th place (313-318-631) out of the field of 16 teams. Manhattanville College was the tournament champions with a winning score of 609. Middlebury finished in second place, three shots behind Manhattanville.
The Rams next will play in the Skyline Conference Championship at Bethpage State Park - Red Course, with a bid to the NCAA Division III National Championships at stake. The first round is Sunday, October 17th followed by the final round on Monday, October 18th.
