Maruyama Named to All-Region Team
- Maruyama one of 12 players to receive honors from the Northeast Region -
Hershey, Penn. - Senior Masa Maruyama (Yamanashi, Japan/Sundai) was named to the Golf Coaches Association of America’s PING All-Region Team. Maruyama was one of 12 players selected from the northeast region.
Maruyama is a returning All-American and holds a scoring average of 75.1 this season. He shot a school-record 69 at the Jasper Classic last month. Masa won six tournaments and placed in the top 5 in 11 of 15 events this year. Maruyama is the first golfer in Farmingdale State College history to receive All-Region Team honors.
