Utica, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State golf team shot rounds of 323 and 317 this weekend, finishing in 6th place out of 15 teams at the Hamilton College Fall Golf Invitational, in Utica, N.Y.

Senior Matt Livolsi was the low individual for the Rams, finishing in a tie for 18th place, after shooting rounds of 80 and 78. Senior Jim McLaughlin posted a team-best 77 in the opening round and followed it up with an 82 at Skenandoa in a round that had one double and two triple bogies. Senior Masa Maruyama (88-77) and Sophomore Chris Arnold (83-80) were in a tie for 35th place individually.

Skidmore College was the team champion with a two-day total of 608. Host school Hamilton College was the runner-up, finishing 12 strokes behind Skidmore. Hamilton's Brad Roche was the individual medalist with a score of 147. Matt Canavan of Skidmore finished in second place with a two-day total of 148.

The Rams travel to Panther Valley Golf Club for the Centenary College Invitational on Wednesday, in their last match before the Skyline Conference Championship.
