Rams in 3rd Place After Opening Round at Skidmore Invitational


Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's golf team is currently in third place out of 12 teams at the Skidmore Invitational after posting an opening round team total of 301. Senior Masa Maruyama was the low man for the Rams, shooting a two-over par 74. Senior Andrew Schwartz, in his second go around as a Farmingdale State golfer, shot a three-over 75. Sophomore Chris Arnold (75) and senior Matt Livolsi (77) positioned the Rams in third, 13 strokes behind host school Skidmore College.

Skidmore College's Ryan Lloyd is the individual leader after shooting a three-under par 69, while teammate and last years winner Chris DeJohn is one behind with a 70. Jeff Santora and Nick Antonelli from Salem State are two off the lead.

The Rams tee off tomorrow morning at 7:30am.
