Rams Lead After Day One of Farmingdale Invitational
Farmingdale, N.Y. – Farmingdale State
College posted a day one team score of 307, giving them an eight
shot lead at their annual spring invitational, held at Bethpage
State Park – Red Course.
Farmingdale had all five players shoot in the 70’s and was led by sophomore Joe Russo who is currently in second place individually after shooting an opening round of 75. Nassau CC’s Dan Carr posted a day one best 74, putting the Lions in second place as a team. Cabrini College, led by Chris Lawler’s 78, is currently in third place with a team total of 315.
The first tee time for Friday’s final round is 9:00am.
