Farmingdale State Athletics

Montauk, N.Y. - The 2007 Skyline Conference Golf Championship began on Sunday, October 21st at Montauk Downs Golf Club in Montauk, N.Y. After day one, Farmingdale State senior Kyle Havas (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) leads with a 79, one stroke over Mike Keaveny from St. Joseph's College.

St. Joe's leads as a team with a 339, followed by Farmingdale State at 350, Yeshiva at 371 and Polytechnic with 487.

The second and final round of the tournament is today, Monday, October 22nd. The winner of the Tournament will receive an automatic bid to the Division III NCAA Championships, which are held May 13-16, 2008 (a site has not yet been determined).
