Bethpage, N.Y. - Junior Alec Salvitti (Patchogue, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford) shot a school record 68 on Friday afternoon as Farmingdale State won a quad match at Bethpage State Park's Green Course in Bethpage, N.Y. against Nassau, St. Joe's and Polytechnic. Salvitti's 68 helped the Rams shoot an all-time team low score of 297, besting the 306 Farmingdale posted back in 2005. Salvitti, who broke the previous school record of 70 by Rams assistant coach Ryan Williams, birdied his final three holes for his record setting performance.

Sophomore Rob Barnes (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) posted an impressive even-par 71 and senior Kyle Havas (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) shot a 3-over par 74 for Farmingdale. Nassau CC's Matt Livolsi finished in second place individually shooting a 1-under par 70.

The Rams return to action on October 2nd competing at the West Point Invitational in West Point, N.Y.
