Keaveny Leads St. Joseph's to Upset over Farmingdale State

Bethpage, N.Y. - Junior Mike Keaveny (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Sachem) shot a match-low, three over par 74 leading St. Joseph's golf team over Skyline opponents Farmingdale State, Yeshiva and Polytech in a Quad Match held at Bethpage Red Course on Friday, April 13th. Keaveny's score of 74, a career best, was highlighted by his one under par (34) on the back nine. Freshman Chris Manzello (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem) finished in second place individually shooting an 80 for St. Joe's. Farmingdale senior Ryan Williams (Westbury, N.Y./Clarke) led the Rams with a score of 81 while junior Kyle Havas (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) posted an 82.

Farmingdale will now host the Farmingdale State College Invitational this Thursday-Friday, April 19-20 to be held at Bethpage State Park Red Course. Five colleges will participate with the first tee-time scheduled for Noon on Thursday and 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
