Coram, N.Y. - In very cold and windy conditions, Farmingdale State junior Kyle Havas (Lindenhurst, N.Y./Lindenhurst) shot two rounds of 79 for a two-day total of 158 as the Rams placed 4th at the Long Island Intercollegiate Golf Championship, hosted by St. Joseph's College, on April 5th - 6th at Pine Ridge Golf Club in Coram, N.Y. Havas placed 10th individually while senior Ryan Williams (Westbury, N.Y./Clarke) and sophomore Andrew Schwartz (Commack, N.Y./Commack) tied for 13th with a two-day total of 162.
Nassau Community College won the team title followed by Adelphi and Dowling. Adelphi's Jantzen Vargas won the individual title after posting a 71 on Friday giving him a total of 149.
