Sophomore Kyle Havas (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) shot a match-low 79 leading Farmingdale State over Skyline opponents St. Joseph's and Centenary College. The season opening match was played in cold and windy conditions at Pine Ridge Golf Course located in Mt. Sinai, NY. The Rams lost by only three strokes to Division I Manhattan College.

Farmingdale next travels to St. Georges Country Club on Monday, April 10 before playing in the 1st annual Long Island Intercollegiate Tournament April 13-14 at Pine Ridge.
