Rams Fall in Road Game at UMass-Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH, MA | The Farmingdale State baseball team headed on the road on Saturday but fell at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, 5-0. Senior pitcher Ryan Qualey (W, 2-3, 9.0 IP, 2 H, 5 K) tossed a complete game shutout for the Corsairs.

The Rams (13-12) were held to just four baserunners in the contest as senior catcher Louis Annunziata (Howard Beach, N.Y.) and freshman center fielder Ryan Wasserman (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) had a single apiece, while senior right fielder Bobby Pollock (Manorville, N.Y.) and sophomore shortstop Patrick Dallas (Patchogue, N.Y.) each walked.

Dartmouth (16-12) scored a pair of runs in the fourth and two more in the sixth on a home run by Andrew Bryant.

The Corsairs added a run on an RBI single in the eighth as they went on for the 5-0 victory.

The FSC baseball team next travels to play Yeshiva University in a Skyline Conference doubleheader tomorrow, Sunday, April 23rd at 11:00 a.m.
