Skyline Baseball Championship Pushed to May 13-15

NEW YORK | Due to the inclement weather slated to hit the metropolitan New York area this weekend, the four-team, double-elimination portion of the 2022 Skyline Conference Baseball Championship has been postponed to next weekend, May 13-15 (Fri.-Sun.), at St. Joseph's-Long Island's Gregg Alfano Field in Patchogue, N.Y.
 
On the 13th, top-seeded host St. Joseph's-Long Island will open play at 11 a.m. versus No. 4-seed U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. At 2 p.m., third-seeded College of Mount Saint Vincent commences double-elimination play against No. 2-seed Farmingdale State College. An elimination contest will take place at 5 p.m. with the losing sides from the first two games of the day.
 
Saturday, May 14, will feature the winner's bracket contest at 1 p.m., with an elimination game getting underway at 4 p.m.
 
The championship final is slated for Sunday, May 15; an if-necessary contest would take place 35 minutes following the conclusion of the opening game of the day.
