FSC (14-10) scored a run in the bottom of the first inning on a bases loaded hit-by-pitch by sophomore catcher Aidan Hutchins (Wading River, N.Y.).

After scoring a pair of unearned runs in the bottom of the third, the Rams drove in four runs in the bottom of the fifth to go in front, 7-0. With two outs and one on, senior designated hitter Michael Iacobellis (Seaford, N.Y.) hit an RBI triple, before scoring on an RBI single from sophomore second baseman Daniel Molina (Fresh Meadows, N.Y.). Later in the inning, senior center fielder Vincent Napolitano (Bellmore, N.Y.) hit a single which led to two FSC runs to take the commanding seven-run advantage.

In the bottom of the seventh, RBI's from Molina and junior third baseman Nolan White (Miller Place, N.Y.) gave Farmingdale State a 9-0 lead.

Freshman Danny Wolf (Massapequa, N.Y.) threw the final 2.1 innings for the Rams, allowing just one hit, as FSC went on for the 11-1 victory.

Clancy struck out nine batters and scattered just three hits in his 6.2 innings of work. With his scoreless outing today, Clancy lowered his season ERA to 1.29 and now ranks second in the Skyline Conference and 21st in the NCAA.

Sophomore first baseman Jordan Lambert (Plainview, N.Y.) led the Rams offensively with a career-high four hits, including a pair of doubles. Iacobellis tallied three triples and became the first player in school history to accomplish that mark in a single game. Molina recorded two hits, two runs batted in and two runs scored, while Napolitano and freshman shortstop Patrick Dallas (Patchogue, N.Y.) each had a hit and a walk in the win.
