Farmingdale, N.Y. - The 2021 D3baseball.com All-Region Teams were announced on Tuesday, June 1st and Farmingdale State junior pitcher Stephen Clancy (Mineola, N.Y.) has been named Third Team All-New York Region.
The 2021 season marks the ninth year that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with 940 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to D3baseball.com staff and contributors from which three teams in each region were determined.
Clancy, who earned Second Team All-Skyline Conference and ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-Region honors, tossed 35.1 innings this season and held a 1.78 earned run average. He led the team with three wins, 39 strikeouts and a .208 opposing batting average. Clancy ranked second in the conference with only eight runs allowed.
