Farmingdale, N.Y. - The six-team field has been set for the 2019 Skyline Conference Baseball Championship and Farmingdale State has earned the #1 seed after finishing with a 17-1 conference record.
First-Round action is set to get underway on Wednesday evening on campus sites before Friday commences the four-team, double-elimination portion of the tournament, which will be contested at Farmingdale State College.
The top-seeded Rams await the winner of fifth-seeded St. Joseph's-Long Island (9-9) and fourth-seeded Maritime (11-7), while #2 Merchant Marine (14-4) will play with winner of #6 Mount Saint Vincent (9-9) and #3 Old Westbury (12-6) on Friday afternoon.
The winner of the championship receives the conference's automatic bid into the 2019 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
All guests attending the double-elimination portion of the tournament at Farmingdale State must enter through the baseball stadium gates. Admission is free for students and staff with an updated ID; $5 for all other spectators (per day).
