Farmingdale State defeated Hamilton, 3-2, in game one but fell in the second game, 5-0.

Trailing 2-0 in the fourth inning of game one, FSC junior centerfielder Joseph Roche (Westbury, N.Y.) reached on an error and came around to score on a sacrifice fly by sophomore rightfielder Devin Caybasi (St. James, N.Y.) to cut the deficit to 2-1. Junior Logan Hicks (Ekron, KY) pitched two perfect innings in relief to close out the game and earn the save as Farmingdale State won 3-2.

In game two, the Continentals held the Rams to just two hits to cruise to the 5-0 win. Hamilton sophomore Chris Keane (North Andover, Mass.) pitched five scoreless innings, allowing only one baserunner, to capture the win.

The second game was tied at 1-1 until the bottom of the sixth inning when senior first baseman Christopher Reilly (Levittown, N.Y.) hit an RBI triple to score junior third baseman Anthony Gigante (Bedford Hills, N.Y.).
