- Rams enter playoffs as #1 seed -

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State baseball team finished the regular season with a 12-4 record in the conference (18-14 overall) and will host the final four teams in the double-elimination portion of the Skyline Conference Baseball Championship. Due to the rainy conditions recently, the Championship schedule has been adjusted by the Skyline Conference.

On Wednesday May 4th, #6 St. Joseph's-Brooklyn defeated #3 Maritime, 3-2, to advance to the double-elimination portion of the Championship. The #5 Mount Saint Mary (14-24, 8-8) at #4 St. Joseph's-L.I. (20-10, 11-5) game was postponed on Wednesday and will now be played on Friday at 5:00 p.m.

On Saturday morning, the top-seeded Rams will face the #5 Mount Saint Mary/#4 St. Joe's-L.I. winner at 10:00 a.m. and #2 Old Westbury (26-13, 12-4) will square off against the #6 St. Joe's-Brooklyn 1:00 p.m. The loser of both games will face off in an elimination game on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

Sunday at 10:00 a.m. will feature the winner of game 3 and 4, followed by an elimination game at 1:00 p.m.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Championship game will be played by the winner of game six against the winner of game 7. If necessary, a game will be played 30 minutes after the first game. The winner will receive an automatic berth into the 2016 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
