Marino Named ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-American

Greensboro, N.C. - The American Baseball Coaches Association has announced the 2015 ABCA/Rawlings All-Americans, the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove team and the ABCA/Rawlings Gold Bat Award as National Player of the Year for NCAA Division III.

Farmingdale State senior outfielder Michael Marino (Franklin Square, N.Y.) was named Third Team All-American. Marino led the Rams offensively with a team-high .463 batting average which ranked sixth overall in the nation. He totaled a career-high and conference leading 50 hits, while also recording team-high's in doubles (10), slugging percentage (.602), on-base percentage (.539), stolen bases (26), total bases (65) and walks (17). Marino had at least one hit in 28-of-34 games played this season.

In Division III, Marino was 11th for on-base percentage, 16th in stolen bases per game and 22nd for stolen bases.
