Rams Drop Single Game at Ramapo

Mahwah, N.J. - The Farmingdale State baseball team dropped a non-conference game at Ramapo College today in Mahwah, N.J. The Rams are now 10-5 overall, while the Roadrunners improve to 11-3.

Ramapo scored three in the first and four more in the third to gain a 7-0 lead, before scoring in all but one inning the rest of the way as they cruised to a 13-2 victory. Farmingdale scored one run in the eighth and ninth, but could not get the bats going with just four hits.

Senior second baseman Sal Sanquini (Levittown, N.Y.) went 2-for-4 with a run scored and one RBI. Senior first baseman Daniel Paccione (Commack, N.Y.) was 1-for-1 and freshman outfielder John Friscia (Seaford, N.Y.) was 1-for-2 at the plate with one run scored.

The Rams will now host Yeshiva University on Friday, April 4th in a Skyline doubleheader starting at 10:00 a.m.
