Centerville, Mass. - The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its Division I-II-III (regional) baseball weekly awards for the April 9-15 period, which ended Sunday.
Farmingdale State senior pitcher Chris Phelan (Patchogue, N.Y.) was named the ECAC Division III Metro Pitcher of the Week. Phelan pitched 14 innings in two wins last week, allowing five hits, no runs and striking out 16. In a complete-game shutout win over Mount Saint Mary College, 5-0, the senior struck out 10 batters.
