FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | Further postponements have been announced for the Farmingdale State College baseball and softball teams, as rain continues to fall in the metro New York area. Each team's pair of Skyline Conference doubleheaders for the weekend have been postponed, and will be made up on Monday and Tuesday (May 1-2) as follows:
Baseball
- Saturday's home doubleheader versus St. Joseph's-Brooklyn has been postponed to Monday (May 1), with first pitch slated for 4 p.m.
- Sunday's doubleheader against Old Westbury has been postponed to Tuesday (May 2), at FSC, at 3 p.m. (Note: Old Westbury will bat as the home team in both contests)
Softball
- Saturday's postponed doubleheader at Purchase will be made up on Tuesday (May 2) at 3 p.m.
- Sunday's doubleheader at Mount Saint Mary has been postponed, and will now take place Monday (May 1) at 3 p.m.
- With the Skyline doubleheader against Purchase rescheduled to May 2, the Rams' originally scheduled non-conference tilt on that date against John Jay has been canceled, and will not be made up.
