NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference and New Jersey Athletic Conference released their weekly award winners Tuesday morning, with four Farmingdale State College student-athletes earning accolades from the Skyline while another eight collected honor-roll mentions.
Softball (5-8, 1-1 Skyline) | Skyline Report
The Rams opened Skyline play Saturday afternoon at St. Joseph's-Brooklyn, earning a split on the day.
Junior right fielder Jenna Giliberti (Bellmore, N.Y.) earned the Skyline's Player of the Week award, after hitting 6-for-8 with a collective cycle on the day, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored in each contest.
Freshman Samantha Stolfi (Pt. Jefferson Station, N.Y.) and sophomore Ava Shorr (No. Babylon, N.Y.) both were named to the honor roll, with Stolfi batting 5-for-8 with a run and two RBI on the day while Shorr pitched FSC to the game-two victory with a complete-game effort.
Head coach Liz Pennino's side has four doubleheaders this week, including non-conference home twinbills against Hunter (Tue., 4 p.m.) and Baruch (Thu., 4 p.m.), a home Skyline date with Old Westbury (Sat., noon; Little League Day) and a road conference slate at Sarah Lawrence (Sun., noon).

Farmingdale State competed over the weekend at Stockton's Osprey Open in head coach Daniela Georgieva's teams' last competition before the Skyline Conference Championships (April 23, at USMMA in Kings Point, N.Y.).
Men's senior Joseph Stocken VI (Miller Place, N.Y.) was named the Skyline Track Athlete of the Week after collecting his third-consecutive victory in the 400-meter hurdles (56.93), while freshman Samuel Aladegboungbe (Bay Shore, N.Y.) received honor-roll kudos after high jumping to a height of 1.66m (5-5.25).
Women's junior sprinter Alexxis McNeil (Valley Stream, N.Y.) took home the Skyline's Track Athlete of the Week award, as her fourth-place time of 12.88 in the 100-meter dash tied a personal record and placed her fourth out of 37 competitors. Earning an honor-roll spot was sophomore thrower Madelyn Karman (Sayville, N.Y.), who moved to ninth place on the FSC all-time ledger with her 26.68m toss in the discus.
Men's Tennis (6-3, 3-1 Skyline) | Skyline Report
FSC went 2-1 last week, earning victories over Skyline foe Mount Saint Mary and Western Connecticut State on Tuesday and Friday, respectively, before narrowly dropping a 5-4 Skyline decision Saturday at defending champion Manhattanville.
Freshman Ryan Hendel (No. Merrick, N.Y.) collected the Skyline's Rookie of the Week praise after going 2-1 across the top-three singles flights, while teaming with senior honor-roll recipient Mark Baker (Baldwin, N.Y.) to go 3-0 across the pair's top-flight doubles matches.
Home non-conference matches versus Hunter and the University of Saint Joseph take place at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, before head coach Adam Waterhouse's side plays a Skyline match at Purchase, Sunday at 3 p.m.

Farmingdale State tied a school record with its ninth-straight victory on Tuesday at Keystone, before falling in the Legends Cup game and Skyline Conference opener on Saturday to visiting USMMA.
Senior attacker Jake Wandle (Rocky Point, N.Y.) became the Rams' all-time leading scorer (187 pts., on 113 goals and 74 assists) with his second-quarter tally against the Mariners on the weekend, and joined junior face-off specialist Antonio Kaminskey (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) on the Skyline's weekly honor roll.
Two Skyline games dot this week's slate for head coach Sean Chamberlain's side, as they play host to Mount Saint Mary on Tuesday at 7 p.m., before traveling to Maritime on Friday at 7 p.m. in a rematch of the last two Skyline Conference Championship finals.

FSC dropped two Skyline away outings last week, falling to defending champion USMMA on Tuesday before suffering a narrow defeat Friday at Maritime.
Junior midfielder Megan Diamond (Dix Hills, N.Y.) earned honor-roll mention from the Skyline after a week in which she registered eight points (4 g, 4 a) and controlled 15 draws in helping the Rams earn possession.
Head coach Erin Calkins will lead her team into a Wednesday, 4 p.m. contest against visiting Skyline opponent Mount Saint Mary, before taking on Old Westbury on campus, Saturday at noon.

The Rams collected a 23-7 triumph Wednesday night against John Jay, in a weather-shortened six-inning outing at the Brooklyn Cyclones' Maimonides Park.
Two home Skyline doubleheaders await head coach Keith Osik's squad this weekend, as FSC plays host to USMMA on Little League Day on Saturday, before Mount Saint Mary travels to campus on Sunday. Both twinbills start at noon.
Women's Tennis (12-4)
The Skyline Conference-champion Rams will kick off their spring slate this weekend in preparation for the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Championship, as head coach Adam Waterhouse's side will compete in two events at SUNY New Paltz. FSC will take on Cortland State Friday at 3 p.m., before competing in a bracket tournament with the Red Dragons and the host Hawks, Saturday at 10 a.m.
Golf
Tuesday marks the second and final day of competition for head coach Ryan Williams's Rams in Muscle Shoals, Ala., at the prestigious Shoals Intercollegiate event. Farmingdale State, which won the Skyline Conference title during the fall portion of its campaign, continues its preparations for the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship.
