FSC Winter Athletics Update #12

NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference and New Jersey Athletic Conference released their latest round of weekly winter reports, as two weeks of regular-season competition remain before conference championship play gets underway.

Men's Basketball (14-7, 9-3 Skyline) | Skyline Report

The Rams remain tied atop the Skyline's South Division standings after a 1-1 week in which they defeated Purchase Tuesday at home before suffering a road setback Saturday at St. Joseph's-Long Island.

Head coach Brendan Twomey's side travels to Mount Saint Vincent for a 7 p.m. tip-off on Wednesday, before welcoming St. Joseph's-Brooklyn to the Walter A. Lynch Sports Center on Saturday afternoon at 2. Prior to Saturday's game, the FSC men's basketball program will play host to an alumni game at 11 a.m.

Women's Basketball (4-16, 3-12 Skyline) | Skyline Report

Farmingdale State fell last Tuesday to defending Skyline champion Mount Saint Mary, before being turned aside seven days later by visiting St. Joseph's-Brooklyn. 

Freshman guard Victoria Kantzian (Staten Island, N.Y.) was cited on the Skyline's weekly honor roll, after collecting 10 steals against Mount Saint Mary -- tying for the fifth-highest single-game total in FSC history.

Head coach Mark Dellecave's Rams welcome Yeshiva University for a 6 p.m. tip-off Thursday, before taking to a road contest Saturday at St. Joseph's-Long Island at noon.

Indoor Track and Field | Men's NJAC Report | Women's NJAC Report

The Rams competed Friday at the NYU Division III Invitational, with women's junior Alexxis McNeil (Valley Stream, N.Y.) qualifying for the Atlantic Regional Championships in the 60-meter dash, while men's seniors Morris Johnson (Binghamton, N.Y.) and Joseph Stocken VI (Miller Place, N.Y.) qualified in the 60-meter dash and 60-meter hurdles, respectively.

Head coach Daniela Georgieva's teams are back in action Friday, when they travel to Staten Island for the Fastrack National Invitational.
