NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference released its ninth edition of weekly awards Wednesday morning, with one Farmingdale State College student-athlete earning weekly honor roll praise.

Men's Basketball (11-5, 6-1 Skyline) | Skyline Report

The Rams responded from a narrow setback over the weekend at USMMA with a double-digit triumph Tuesday night over Maritime. FSC continues to lead the South Division of the Skyline Conference standings.

Senior forward Tre Riggins (Baldwin, N.Y.) was cited on the Skyline's weekly honor roll after leading the Rams with 17 points (7-of-8 FG), six rebounds and two blocked shots against the Mariners on Saturday.

Head coach Brendan Twomey's side plays host to North Division co-leader Manhattanville, Saturday at noon.

Women's Basketball (3-12, 2-8 Skyline) | Skyline Report

Farmingdale State dropped a Wednesday night home contest to cross-Island foe St. Joseph's-Long Island on Wednesday, before falling Tuesday night at Mount Saint Vincent.

Head coach Mark Dellecave's Rams will play as the visiting team Thursday night against Old Westbury, with a 6 p.m. start in Nold Hall.

Indoor Track and Field

Head coach Daniela Georgieva's Rams teams got back in action to start the new year on Monday afternoon at the MLK Tribute Invite in Staten Island. Women's competitors Alexxis McNeil (Jr.; Valley Stream, N.Y.) and Madelyn Karman (So.; Sayville, N.Y.) moved into fifth and sixth places on FSC's all-time leaderboard in the 60-meter dash (8.25) and weight throw (11.16m; 36-7.5), respectively.

Farmingdale State is back in action at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island on Friday, when the two teams compete in the New York City Gotham Cup.
