DANBURY, Conn. | The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced the fall editions of its All-ECAC teams Thursday, and two Farmingdale State College student-athletes received recognition.

Women's soccer defender Celina Schenk (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) and men's soccer goalkeeper Justin Silva (Bellerose, N.Y.) each collected Second Team All-ECAC honors.

Schenk started all 23 games for Farmingdale State, just one of four student-athletes to do so. Schenk, a First Team All-Skyline Conference selection, dished out five assists on the season while anchoring the FSC defense. She ranked third on the team for assists and was tied for 14th in the Skyline.

Silva, the October ECAC Goalkeeper of the Month and United Soccer Coaches All-Region choice, backstopped a Rams defense that picked up nine clean sheets on the season (eight solo). His eight shutouts topped the Skyline leaderboard, while his 1.05 goals-against average ranked fourth. In Skyline competition, Silva's 0.63 goals-against average and .800 save percentage ranked second and fourth, respectively. He backstopped Farmingdale State to a shutout streak that stretched 607:20 at the back end of the team's 2022 campaign.
