The Rams went into the Thanksgiving weekend with a 53-50 victory in conference play over Mount Saint Vincent last Tuesday. Freshman Victoria Kantzian (Staten Island, N.Y.) was named the Skyline's Rookie of the Week, after she collected 14 points on the night -- none bigger than her buzzer-beating 3-pointer from the left wing to break a 50-all deadlock. Sophomore guard Jenna Pignataro garnered weekly honor roll mention after registering a career-best 15 points on five efforts from long range.

Two Skyline games await head coach Mark Dellecave's side this week, including a Tuesday night home date with Old Westbury at 6 p.m., and an 8:30 p.m. tip-off in Manhattan on Saturday against Yeshiva.

Farmingdale State's winning streak is now at four games, after the Rams defeated Brooklyn College on Tuesday night before a road, 80-75 triumph Saturday afternoon at defending NESCAC champion and preseason 22nd-ranked Wesleyan University. Junior point guard Jevon Santos (Elmont, N.Y.) was named on the Skyline's weekly honor roll after averaging 8.0 points, 7.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds per outing, helping FSC to shoot 48 percent from the floor and dishing out 15 assists against just two turnovers.

Head coach Brendan Twomey's Rams have a Wednesday night non-conference contest at 7 p.m., when they travel to Willimantic, Conn., to play at Eastern Connecticut State University.

Indoor Track and Field

Head coach Daniela Georgieva's Rams kick off their 2022-23 indoor seasons this weekend, with a handful of multi-event student-athletes competing Friday and Saturday at the Art Kadish Elm City Challenge in New Haven, Conn., while the full teams will travel Saturday to the Youree Garcia Meet at the Ocean Breeze Park Track and Field Complex in Staten Island.
