The Rams moved to 8-0 in conference play following a pair of Skyline clean-sheet displays at Purchase on Wednesday and versus Old Westbury on Saturday.

Freshman attacker Alyse Rivera (New York, N.Y.) picked up her second Rookie of the Week selection on the campaign, as the conference's leader in goals and points in Skyline competition registered a 12-point week (5g, 2a) -- including her first-career hat trick at Purchase.

Head coach Chris Roche's side plays host to a pair of important conference matches this week, including Tuesday's 4 p.m. kickoff with fellow Skyline-unbeaten Sarah Lawrence, and a noon start Saturday versus Manhattanville.

Golf | Skyline report

Farmingdale State placed second over the weekend at The Melee event (Riverview Country Club; Easton, Pa.), finishing just three shots behind Swarthmore College in the team scoring.

Freshman James Quinlan (Poughquag, N.Y.) picked up his first Rookie of the Week honor from the Skyline, as he shot a plus-13 155 over the 36-hole competition, tying for 23rd out of 58 competitors.

His teammate, junior Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.), was cited on the weekly honor roll, after placing second at the competition (plus-1, 143) and setting the FSC school records for lowest round (66) and lowest under par (minus-5) on Sunday.

Bethpage State Park's Red Course is the next focus for head coach Ryan Williams's team, as it plays host to the FSC Skyline Invitational Friday morning, before the 2022 Skyline Conference Golf Championship (36-hole event) takes place on Sunday and Monday mornings.

The Rams competed at Saturday's St. Joseph's-Long Island Invitational at nearby Sunken Meadow State Park, with the men's team placing eighth (160) and the women's side 13th (314) against NCAA competition.

Men's senior Matthew Calogianes (Deer Park, N.Y.) continued his standout campaign with an 8k time of 28:26.91, good enough for fourth among NCAA competitors and for a spot on the Skyline weekly honor roll.

Head coach Daniela Georgieva's squad will next compete at the 2022 Skyline Conference Cross Country Championships, which will take place Sunday (W: 11 a.m.; M: noon) at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, N.Y.

Men's Soccer (6-5-2, 4-2-2 Skyline) | Skyline report

Farmingdale State has now won four matches in a row, following shutout victories over last season's conference finalist Manhattanville on the road Tuesday, and versus Purchase on Saturday.

Senior striker Brandon Balcaceres (Farmingdale, N.Y.) registered his second two-goal game of the season and his career against the Valiants midweek, and garnered honor roll accolades from the Skyline for his efforts.

Head coach Chuck Schimpf's Rams have a pair of conference matches this weekend, traveling to Maritime for a 7 p.m. kickoff Friday night, before playing host to Yeshiva on Senior Day, Sunday at noon.

Women's Tennis (8-4, 4-0 Skyline) | Skyline report

FSC's lone match last week was a 7-2 victory at Sarah Lawrence on Tuesday night, in a rematch of last season's Skyline final.

Sophomore Lien Collings (Merrick, N.Y.) and freshman MacKenzie Gisler (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) were both listed on the conference's weekly honor roll, after teaming for an 8-1 decision at No. 2 doubles and winning their respective singles matches against the Gryphons.

This week marks the end of the regular-season portion of head coach Adam Waterhouse's team's fall schedule, with home conference matches against Mount Saint Mary (Wed., 4:30 p.m.) and St. Joseph's-Long Island (Sat., noon; Senior Day) helping to determine seeding for the Rams' appearance in next week's 2022 Skyline Conference Women's Tennis Championship.

Women's Volleyball (10-7, 7-1 Skyline) | Skyline report

Head coach Kellie Block's side has now ripped off nine victories in a row, following Skyline victories against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn (Tue.), St. Joseph's-Long Island (Thu.) and Old Westbury (Mon.). Junior Kalena Ricketts (Cambria Hts., N.Y.) took a spot on the Skyline weekly honor roll for her play against the two St. Joseph's campuses, as she registered a .447 hitting percentage -- including a match-high .458 (13 kills) Thursday at SJ-LI, helping Farmingdale State to a reverse-sweep, five-set triumph over the Golden Eagles.

FSC travels to Sarah Lawrence for an important Skyline match Wednesday night, before a non-conference tilt at Baruch on Friday. Both matches start at 7 p.m.
