DANBURY, Conn. | The Eastern College Athletic Association (ECAC) announced the spring editions of its All-ECAC teams Tuesday, and eight Farmingdale State College student-athletes received recognition across four sports.

From head coach Keith Osik's baseball team, senior right-handed pitcher Stephen Clancy (Mineola, N.Y.) collected All-ECAC praise, after a season that saw him earn Third-Team All-America recognition from ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com, as well as Region 3 and Skyline Conference Pitcher of the Year honors. He set the FSC single-season records with a 9-1 record and 85 strikeouts over his 66 innings pitched, and posted national rankings in WHIP (third, 0.77), strikeouts per nine innings pitched (ninth, 10.62), ERA (11th, 1.64), complete games (13th, 5) and wins (17th).

Men's lacrosse senior attacker and Honorable Mention All-American Terrence Haggerty (Centerport, N.Y.) garnered All-ECAC kudos, while junior teammates Gino Luchetti (Farmingville, N.Y.) and Kevin Loonie (Lynbrook, N.Y.) earned honorable-mention citations from the ECAC.

A two-time Skyline Conference Offensive Player of the Year in as many seasons as a Ram, Haggerty earned USILA honorable-mention accolades four times in his 65-game Division III career. He collected 151 points apiece over two-plus seasons at Cortland (2018-20), matching the total he had at FSC, and leaves the Rams' program with single-season records for points (93), goals per-game (4.78) and points (6.44) this past spring. Haggerty also owns the Farmingdale State career records with averages of 3.88 goals and 6.04 points per outing over his 25 games played in the green and white.

Luchetti caused a team-high 29 turnovers on the Rams' backline, while his 1.93 per-game average is the third-best mark in the Skyline.

Loonie ranked No. 2 in the Skyline in goals-against average (8.33) and save percentage (.591) – marks that ranked Nos. 22 and 25 in Division III, respectively.

Senior defender Anna Zaborowska (E. Patchogue, N.Y.) was an All-ECAC selection in the sport of women's lacrosse. She was a first-team All-Skyline Conference choice after leading the eight-team league with 59 caused turnovers and 79 ground balls. Her 3.47 caused turnovers per game ranked No. 6 in Division III, while her 4.65 ground balls per game ranked No. 18.

After posting the best winning percentage in team history and earning the Rams' third-straight Skyline Conference Softball Championship, a trio of student-athletes earned ECAC recognition: senior catcher Lyndsey Shaw (Sayville, N.Y.), senior pitcher Allie Stanya (Manorville, N.Y.) and freshman pitcher/designated player Ava Shorr (No. Babylon, N.Y.).

Shaw was named to the All-ECAC team after receiving NFCA second-team all-region. She ranked No. 8 nationally in slugging percentage (the No. 2 single-season mark in program history), while her team-high .450 batting average ranked No. 77 in Division III. Shaw's other national rankings in 2022 included the 14th-best mark in triples (six), No. 29 in home runs per game (0.27), 33rd in total bases (99), 40th in runs per game (1.18) and 43rd in RBI per game (1.15).

The one-two pitching combination of Stanya and Shorr both received honorable-mention ECAC praise. Stanya was named a first-team all-region performer by the NFCA, after earning her second Skyline Conference Pitcher of the Year, and conference-championship Most Outstanding Player awards in 2022. Her 15-2 record places her fifth all-time in a single season at FSC in victories (No. 51 in '22 Division III), while she ranked No. 24 nationally with her conference-leading six shutouts. Stanya's 1.76 ERA, which is the fifth-best single-season mark in program history, was the 72nd-best average in Division III.

Shorr was a second-team NFCA all-region choice in the utility/pitcher category, after garnering Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year accolades and earning first-team all-conference kudos as both a pitcher and in the utility spot. She pitched to a 13-2 record with a 1.99 ERA (No. 98 nationally), with a 1.09 WHIP average that ranked No. 93 in Division III. Shorr tossed five shutouts on the season (No. 42 in Division III), including a 42-pitch, five-inning perfect game at Yeshiva on April 26 -- just the third time the feat has been accomplished in Farmingdale State history.
