- FSC deals #6 Yeshiva first Skyline loss since 2019 -


New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #10 on Monday, February 7th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball. The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) released their Track, Field and Rookie Athletes of the Week for men's and women's indoor track.

Men's Basketball Update (14-7, 10-2 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The Rams posted a 2-0 record last week with conference wins over both Sarah Lawrence (75-63) and #6 Yeshiva (79-75). FSC dealt the sixth-ranked Maccabees their first conference loss of the season.

Sophomore guard Nick Hurowitz (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Hurowitz averaged 16.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, while hitting the game-clinching free-throws in the final seconds of the victory at Yeshiva.

The men's basketball team will play a pair of Skyline games this week: Wednesday at St. Joseph's-Long Island @ 7:00 p.m. and Saturday vs. Mount Saint Vincent for Senior Day @ 2:00 p.m.

 

Women's Basketball Update (9-9, 7-8 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The women's basketball team was 1-1 in a pair of Skyline Conference games last week. The Rams fell 68-37 at Manhattanville and bounced back with a 69-47 win at Yeshiva.

This week FSC is slated to play two home conference games: Thursday vs. Old Westbury @ 6:00 p.m. and Saturday vs. St. Joseph's-LI for Senior Day @ 11:00 a.m.

 

Indoor Track Update - Women's Weekly Report  Men's Weekly Report

The indoor track teams had the week off and return to action on Friday, February 11th for the Fastrack National Invitational held at the Ocean Breeze Park Track & Field Complex in Staten Island, N.Y.
