New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Winter weekly report #2 on Monday, November 22nd, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's basketball.
Women's Basketball Update (1-2, 1-1 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report
The Rams opened Skyline Conference play and posted a 1-1 mark in a pair of games last week. FSC fell, 58-48, at Mount Saint Vincent and rebounded with a 71-63 home win over Purchase.
Freshman forward Kalena Ricketts (Cambria Heights, N.Y.) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll. She shot .586 from the field and averaged 18.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 blocks per game.
This week the women's basketball team will travel to Merchant Marine for a conference matchup on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
Men's Basketball Update (2-3, 0-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report
FSC was 1-1 at the Rose City Classic hosted by Drew University last week. In the opening game against Baruch, FSC lost 78-75 but followed with a 64-51 win over St. Elizabeth in the consolation game.
This week the men's basketball team will play at Widener on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
