New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released its fifth spring weekly report on Tuesday, April 20th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Women's Lacrosse Update (6-0, 6-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The women's lacrosse team defeated Maritime 16-9 in their lone game last week. 

Sophomore goalkeeper Ashley Perrini (Holbrook, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. She stopped 10 shots in the victory over Maritime.

Sophomore attack Athena Vogiatzis (Holtsville, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll after scoring a career-high seven goals against Maritime.

The Rams finished the regular season with a perfect 6-0 record and clinched home field advantage throughout the Skyline Playoffs. The Rams next will host the Conference Semifinals on Wednesday, April 28th. 

 

Men's Tennis Update (2-0, 2-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report 

In their lone match against Sarah Lawrence, Farmingdale State earned a 9-0 shutout victory.

Senior Zachary Baker (Carmel, N.Y.) earned Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honors. Baker claimed Player of the Week honors for the second straight week after posting wins at #1 doubles and #1 singles in the victory over SLC. He teamed with Mark Baker for an 8-0 win in doubles before a 6-1, 6-0 singles decision.

This week the men's tennis team will play a road match at Manhattanville on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. 

 

Men's Golf Update Skyline Full Report 

The Rams earned a 24-stroke victory in their second tournament of the season at the Old Westbury Invitational held at Eisenhower Red.

Sophomore Eli Leone-Formisano (Monroe, N.Y.) claimed a spot on the Honor Roll after a T2 finish with a score of 80. 

FSC will host the Skyline Conference Championship on Sunday (April 25) and Monday (April 26) at the Bethpage State Park - Red Course. The winner of the championship will earn the conference's automatic bid into the 2021 NCAA Division III Championship at the Oglebay Resort and Conference Center in Wheeling, WV on May 11-14.

 

Men's Lacrosse Update (3-1, 3-1 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

In their only game last week at Maritime, the Rams fell, 14-12.

Senior attack Terrence Haggerty (Centerport, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll after recording five points on three goals and two assists at Maritime.

This week Farmingdale State will travel to Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday for a Skyline Conference game at 1:00 p.m.

 

Baseball Update (9-6, 8-4 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The Rams dropped 3-of-4 games to St. Joseph's-Long Island in their four-game set last week.

This week the baseball team will host Old Westbury in a doubleheader on Saturday at noon and be the road team versus Old Westbury (games at FSC) in a DH on Sunday beginning at 11:00 a.m. 

 

Women's Tennis Update (1-1, 1-1 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report 

FSC earned an 8-1 win over Sarah Lawrence in their only match last week. 

Freshman Anastasia Hoffman (North Massapequa, N.Y.) received a spot on the Honor Roll after collecting #1 singles and #1 doubles victories over SLC. 

The Rams next will host Yeshiva on Wednesday in a Skyline Conference match at 4:30 p.m. 

 

Softball Update (6-3, 6-2 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The softball team had the week off and return to action with a four-game series against Purchase this weekend. On Saturday, FSC will play a DH at Purchase at noon and host the Panthers on Sunday at noon. 

 

Outdoor Track Update

This week Farmingdale State will host the Skyline Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday.
