- Perrini named Defensive Player of the Week -


New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released its third spring weekly report on Tuesday, April 6th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Women's Lacrosse Update (3-0, 3-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report

The Rams were 2-0 last week with wins over both Merchant Marine (12-10) and St. Joseph's-Long Island (9-6).

Sophomore goalkeeper Ashley Perrini (Holbrook, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Perrini registered two victories in goal with 17 saves on 33 shots on target (.515 save pct., 8.00 GAA). She posted a career-best 11 stops Monday at USMMA and added six saves in a weekend victory over St. Joseph's-Long Island.

Senior attack Courtney Gendels (Wantagh, N.Y.) claimed a spot on the Honor Roll after a 10-point week with nine goals and one assist.

This week FSC will travel to Mount Saint Mary for a conference matchup on Friday at 7:00 p.m.

 

Men's Lacrosse Update (2-0, 2-0 Skyline) - Skyline Full Report 

In Farmingdale State's lone game last week, the Rams picked up an 8-7 home victory over St. Joseph's-LI.

Senior attack Terrence Haggerty (Centerport, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll after registering a game-high five points on four goals and one assist to go along with four ground balls.

This week the men's lacrosse team is slated to host Mount Saint Mary on Friday at 4:00 p.m.

 

Baseball Update (6-2, 6-0 Skyline) 

The baseball team will play a pair of Skyline Conference doubleheaders against St. Joseph's-Brooklyn this weekend. On Saturday, FSC will travel to the Bears at noon before hosting SJC-BK on Sunday at noon. 

 

Softball Update (4-3, 4-2 Skyline) 

FSC will square off against St. Joseph's-LI in two Skyline DH's this weekend. The Golden Eagles will head to Farmingdale State on Saturday at noon and the Rams will travel to SJC-LI on Sunday at noon.

 

Men's Tennis Update (1-0, 1-0 Skyline) 

The Rams kicked off the 2021 season with a 9-0 home win over St. Joseph's-LI on Tuesday afternoon. 

FSC next will host Yeshiva in a Skyline Conference match on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. 

 

Women's Tennis Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline) 

The women's tennis team begins the season with a home match versus St. Joseph's-LI on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

 

Men's Golf Update 

The Rams open the year with the FSC Skyline Invitational at Bethpage Red on Friday.

 

Outdoor Track Update

The outdoor track teams open the season on Saturday at the Merchant Marine Invitational.
