Farmingdale State Releases 2016-17 Schedules

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The 2016-17 Farmingdale State schedules for the fall, winter and spring sports have been released.

Men's Soccer - SCHEDULE

The men's soccer team will kick off the fall season with a non-conference home game against Staten Island on Thursday, September 1st at 4:00 p.m. The Rams open Skyline Conference play on September 17th when they host Purchase at noon. The final two regular season games against Mount Saint Vincent (10/22) and St. Joe's-LI (10/26) will be played at Farmingdale State.

Women's Soccer- SCHEDULE

The women's soccer team will host RPI on Saturday, September 3rd at 11:30 a.m. and Buffalo State on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. for the Rams Classic. FSC will square off against Trinity (9/7), NYU (9/14) and Stevens (10/12) in non-conference home games throughout the season. The Rams begin Skyline play on Wednesday, September 21st at 6:00 p.m. versus Old Westbury.

Volleyball - SCHEDULE

The volleyball team starts the year at the Ramapo Invite on September 2nd & 3rd. Farmingdale State will play their first conference matches on Sunday, September 18th against Yeshiva (1:00 p.m.) and St. Joe's-Brooklyn (3:00 p.m.) at St. Joseph's-Brooklyn. The Rams will host their tri-match (FSC, Maritime, Sage) at Nassau Community College on September 24th.

Women's Tennis - SCHEDULE

The women's tennis team, who is in search of their fourth straight Skyline Title, will start the year at Plattsburgh State on September 3rd. FSC plays their first conference match on Sunday, September 11th at noon when they host Yeshiva. The Skyline Semifinals and Finals will be played on October 28th & 30th, respectively.

Men's Basketball - SCHEDULE

In the winter, the men's basketball team will host Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday, December 3rd at noon for their home opener. The Rams will play host to rival Old Westbury on January 7th at noon and follow with a road game at St. Joe's-LI on January 11th. The opening round of the playoffs will be held on Tuesday, February 21st.

Women's Basketball - SCHEDULE

The women's basketball team kicks off the season at the Amherst Tournament on November 19th & 20th. Thursday, December 1st marks the home opener for Farmingdale State as they play host to Merchant Marine at 6:00 p.m. The Rams will host defending champion Old Westbury on December 6th at 6:00 p.m. The first round of the playoffs is set for Tuesday, February 21st.

Baseball - SCHEDULE

In the spring, the baseball team gets started with a home doubleheader against Plattsburgh State on March 4th and follow with a single game against the Cardinals on March 5th. After a non-conference home game vs. Kean on March 23rd at 3:00 p.m., the baseball team enters Skyline play with a home DH vs. Merchant Marine on Saturday, March 25th. The Skyline Championship will be held March 3-5.

Softball - SCHEDULE

The softball team opens conference play on March 25th at noon with a home doubleheader against Sage and then hosts Old Westbury on March 26th at noon. The Conference Championship will be held May 4-7.

Men's Lacrosse - SCHEDULE

The men's lacrosse team starts the season with a non-conference home game versus Mitchell on Saturday, February 25th at 1:00 p.m. The Rams will follow with five non-conference games against Manhattanville, ECSU, Western Conn., Hartwick and SUNY Canton and start Skyline play with a home game against Mount Saint Mary on March 18th at 1:00 p.m. FSC will host Kean on March 29th with a 7:00 p.m. start. The playoffs begin on April 29th.

Women's Lacrosse - SCHEDULE

The women's lacrosse team opens 2017 with home non-conference games versus Manhattanville (3/4) and Scranton (3/11). The Rams will host two-time defending champion St. Joe's-LI in a night game on Tuesday, March 28th at 7:00 p.m. in their first Skyline Conference game of the season. The women's lacrosse team closes the regular season on April 29th with a home game against Mount Saint Mary. The playoffs start on May 2nd.

Men's Tennis - SCHEDULE

The men's tennis team will play their fall match on Saturday, September 24th at Rutgers-Newark. In the spring, the Rams open against York before entering conference play on March 29th with a road match at Purchase. The first home conference game will be held on Tuesday, April 4th against St. Joe's-Brooklyn. FSC closes the regular season with a home match versus three-time defending champion Yeshiva (4/26). The opening round of the playoffs will be held on May 2nd.
