Associate Head Coach: Steve Raisfeld (8th season)

Coach Steve Raisfeld is entering his eighth season at Farmingdale State College with an overall record of 126-66, including 96-28 in Skyline Conference play. Since Raisfeld joined FSC, the Rams have won five regular season titles (2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023) captured the Skyline Conference Championship in 2017, 2019 and 2023 with earn berths into the NCAA Tournament.

In addition, Raisfeld has coached one All-American, 12 All-Conference players, three Defensive Player's of the Year, one Rookie of the Year and a two-time Skyline Tournament MVP. Raisfeld, who has extensive recruiting ties in the Metropolitan New York area, oversees the recruiting for the men's basketball program as well as scouting opponents, monitoring academic progress of the student-athletes and other day-to-day aspects to help maintain a successful program. Besides his coaching duties, Raisfeld oversees the Farmingdale State men's basketball’s community outreach programs, including its running of the annual “CYO Day" Clinic for about 100 youth kids before a home game. He also assists with the Katie McBride Foundation, a charity that works to raise important funds and awareness of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island and the family support services it provides. In 2017, Coach Raisfeld was named Under Armour 30 under 30 up and coming young coaches.

Prior to Coach Raisfeld joining FSC, he was at Fordham University as Director of Video Operations from 2011-2015. His duties included travel arrangements, academics, housing, scheduling, facilities, player development and community relations and serving as the director of the Tom Pecora Basketball Camps. Raisfeld was involved in game and practice preparation, player development, preparing scouting reports and video editing. Raisfeld also supervised all facets of the men's basketball academic program, which included acting as a liaison between student-athletes and faculty. He spearheaded the Fordham men's basketball's community service programs and was involved in numerous outreach programs, including weekly school assemblies and clinics.

Raisfeld worked as a graduate assistant/video coordinator at Hofstra University in 2010-11 before heading to Fordham University.

Raisfeld is a 2010 graduate of Hofstra's Zarb School of Business with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. He is the process of finishing his Master’s Degree in Sport Management from SUNY Cortland.

He has coached two NBA draft picks:
Charles Jenkins (Hofstra) (2011 - 44th Pick - Warriors) and Eric Paschall (Fordham) (2019 - 41st Pick - Warriors).
