FSC Leads by 29 After First Round of Skyline Championship

ROUND ONE RESULTS


FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State men's golf team shot an opening round of 292 at the Skyline Conference Championship at Bethpage State Park - Red Course on Sunday. The Rams hold a 29 stroke lead over Mount Saint Mary College who sits in second with a team total of 321 on day one.

Junior Brad Castaldy (Dix Hills, N.Y.) fired a career-low 67 (-3) to lead the way for the Rams and currently holds a seven-stroke lead over teammate Mackenzie Kim (East Quogue, N.Y.), who shot a 74 in round one.

Chris Iguchi (Centereach, N.Y.) is in third place, individually, with a 75, while freshman James Quinlan (Poughquag, N.Y.) is tied for fourth place with a 76 on day one.

Tomorrow's final round begins at 9:00 a.m.

The winner of the Skyline Championship will earn the conference's automatic bid into the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships.
