FARMINGDALE, N.Y. | The Farmingdale State men's and women's indoor track & field teams are preparing for the All-Atlantic Region Championships this weekend. The two-day Championship is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 3rd & 4th at The Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory in New York, N.Y.

The Rams have six individuals, as well as two relays, scheduled to compete in the regional championship.

On the women's side, junior Alexxis McNeil (Valley Stream, N.Y.) qualified for both the 60m and 200m races, while senior Emily Russell (Southold, N.Y.) will compete in the high jump and pentathlon.

In addition, senior Alycia Haynes (Adams Center, N.Y.) is set for the 800m run.

The women will enter a 4x200m relay team of sophomore Meghan Cichon (Mahopac, N.Y.), junior Jillian Kosky (Merrick, N.Y.), Russell and McNeil. Senior Amira Kemp (Copiague, N.Y.) will serve as the alternate.

For the men, senior Morris Johnson (Binghamton, N.Y.) will run in the 60m dash and both Joseph Stocken VI (Miller Place, N.Y.) and Rodney Jerome (Westbury, N.Y.) earned a spot in the 60m hurdles.

The men's 4x200m relay will consist of junior Timothy Folarin (Elmont, N.Y.), Stocken VI, freshman Samuel Aladegboungbe (Bay Shore, N.Y.) and Johnson, with Nathaniel Blades (Freeport, N.Y.) and Tristan Socias (Uniondale, N.Y.) serving as alternates.
