ITA Announces 2021 Team and Individual Academic Awards

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association is proud to announce the 2021 Division III Women's and Men's ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams.

In order to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, the individual must have had at least a 3.50 GPA for the 2020-21 academic year. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have held a team GPA of 3.20 or higher for the 2020-21 academic year.

The Farmingdale State women's tennis team was named ITA All-Academic after holding a 3.43 grade point average. Individually, six players were named Scholar-Athletes: Katherine Del Valle (Copiague, N.Y.), Shari Jackson (Copiague, N.Y.), Rosa Lettieri (West Islip, N.Y.), Mia Murrell (Shirley, N.Y.), Stephanie Negrillo (West Islip, N.Y.) and Susana Pariona (Massapequa, N.Y.).

For the men, Ethan Cintron (Oakland Gardens, N.Y.), Michael Josefak (Oakdale, N.Y.) and Alan Sabovic (Bohemia, N.Y.) each received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
