Indianapolis, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Committee has announced the field of 64 teams for the 2018 Division III Women's Soccer Championship.
Farmingdale State, ranked #21 by the United Soccer Coaches, will travel to The College of New Jersey for their First Round game against #13 Brandeis University on Saturday, November 10th at 1:30 p.m. The other First Round game, which will begin at 11:00 a.m., features #8 TCNJ and Western Connecticut State. The First and Second Rounds (Saturday & Sunday) will be played at The College of New Jersey.
The Rams (16-3-3) clinched a berth into the NCAA's by winning the Skyline Conference for the third straight season and 11th time in the last 12 years. FSC defeated Mount Saint Mary in a shootout on Saturday afternoon to claim the title. #13 Brandeis (12-4) earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament after falling, 2-1, to NYU in the University Athletic Association season finale.
#8 TCNJ (13-1-1) punched their ticket by defeating Rowan, 1-0, in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship, while Western Connecticut State (14-8) made the field of 64 after a 2-0 victory over UMass-Boston in the Little East Conference Championship.
The winners will meet in the Second Round on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
